Mom: Hi, I'm calling to ask if you will bring a second suitcase when you come home.

Me: Absolutely -- for all the presents I'll get? 

[uncomfortable silence]

Mom: Actually, I wondered if you would bring back some of that Christmas garland I loaned you.
